Smallest egg
incubator available with full temperature control
Features Brinsea's new
Omnitherm™
heating technology and Electronic Temperature Control
The Clear Winner for
Novice Breeders and
Educational Establishments
Holds
10 Chicken sized Eggs
or Adaptable for
smaller parrot sized eggs
The
Omnitherm principle ensures that the eggs are gently warmed by the
printed element which encircles the egg chamber and results in stable,
even temperature throughout the enclosure without the need for a fan.
-
Different
egg sizes, including small and large parrot eggs up
to
goose eggs, can be accommodated by adjusting the width of the egg
channel with the dividers provided. Eggs are
easily accessed by drawing out the egg tray
from one end.
-
Excellent
visibility of incubating eggs & hatching chicks
-
Ventilation by natural convection; not suitable for automatic
humidity control
-
Tough
construction, easy to clean & energy efficient
The Optional
Autoturn cradle turns the eggs & incubator twice
per hour. The external turning system keeps all moving parts outside the
incubator away from moisture and dust leaving the enclosure easier to
clean. The incubator easily lifts clear of the cradle allowing it to stand
level for hatching.
The
advanced, proportional electronic temperature control is similar to that
used across the Brinsea range and is the result of many years of
refinement. The temperature is set on a twenty turn adjuster using a small
screwdriver from outside the incubator. An indicator light displays the
status of the temperature control.
Humidity is provided by two water trays accessible by partially
withdrawing the egg tray.
A high quality mercury thermometer, individually calibrated on the glass
for accuracy, is provided with each incubator.

The process of incubating and hatching eggs is a delight to
watch and is made easy with the new R-com 3 egg incubator.
Designed in Korea as an educational incubator the R-COM really
works! Three hens eggs are gently warmed and turned
automatically as they incubate and the display even counts down
each day to tell you when they are due to hatch.
The R-Com is menu driven and extremely easy to use: just choose
between one of the 5 settings (chicken, duck, pheasant, quail or
mystery bird - to be programmed) and the micro-controller holds
the correct temperature, turning and length of incubation.
Turning will even stop automatically 2 days prior to hatching;
all you need do is top up periodically with water. Detailed,
attractive instructions are supplied to guide you through the
do’s and don’ts.
The eggs must be fertile, of course (no good using eggs from the
supermarket) and 4 fertile bantam eggs
are supplied.
With order.
