publications. Many if not all of these products are manufactured to meet the
needs of the small animal hobbyist---people who raise pet mice, hamsters,
gerbils, reptiles, etc. Most products were not designed or tested as a brooder
bedding for delicate hatchlings and should not be used or advertised as such.
Brooder bedding and/or substrate should be SAFE, inhibit
the growth of bacteria & fungus, be highly absorbent, dust free, easy to
change, and economical. CAGE 'N BIRD offers our Baby Bedding and various of
materials tested here and found to meet all the requirements of good avian
pediatric bedding.

reusable, washable, highly absorbent brooder liner pad. The BROODER-DRI'S soft
durable water wicking material is manufactured by a patented process
that produces amazing capillary attraction to moisture. Whenthe BROODER-DRI PAD is used under our bedding materials excess
moisture is pulled out of droppings and away from bedding and babies.

X-A BROODER LINER ROLLA

CORRUGATED BROODER MATA

circular configurations. These tufts filter droppings away from baby. Wash

easy to clean, 1/2 inch all plastic wire mesh.
We include this plastic grid with a number of our
brooders. May be used under and over bedding materials.
May also be used as a footing for heavy babies prone to
leg problems and/or as a separation between BROODER-DRI
PADS and upper bedding . When used as bedding separator
the open mesh allows air to circulate between bedding
materials, eliminating dampness in bedding and
discouraging mold a fungus growth.

PLASTIC "COATED" WIRE
A rigid coated wire that can be
bent and shaped. Great as
flooring in brooders and weaning cages. PVC coating cushions
wire making it less abrasive on babies tender feet. Wire can be
bent to form platform to keep babies away from droppings.
1/2" x 1/2" mesh is safe for all parrot babies. Not
recommended as caging material for mature hookbills. Great for
softbills.
